That is how many children are diagnosed with Autism worldwide. But it only took one determined father with a vision to create a ripple effect of change for his son and countless others like him.

Rising Tide Car Wash is the brainchild of John D’Eri, a father who watched his son, Andrew, struggle to find his place in the world. Andrew, like many children on the autism spectrum, faced a future with limited opportunities despite his capabilities. As Andrew approached adulthood, John realized the harsh reality: the world was not equipped to provide meaningful employment for individuals like his son.

In 2011, fueled by love and determination, John decided to take action. He envisioned a business that could offer Andrew and others like him not just jobs, but a sense of purpose and belonging. Alongside his other son, Thomas, who joined as Co-Founder and COO, John purchased a car wash. This wasn't just any business venture; it was a mission to tackle the staggering 85% unemployment rate among individuals with autism.

With the support of our amazing SBA loan team here at Paradise Bank, John was able to secure the funding needed to turn his dream into a reality.

Through relentless hard work and the support of incredible partners, John, Thomas, and Andrew transformed their vision into reality. Rising Tide Car Wash now boasts three thriving locations in South Florida, each one a beacon of opportunity for individuals on the autism spectrum. Their success is a testament to the power of inclusion and the strength of a team built on unique talents.
