William J. Burke
William J. Burke is the founding President, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Burke has 37 years of banking experience in Florida.
From 1998 to 2003, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Admiralty Bank in Palm Beach Gardens, which grew from 40 million in assets to over 650 million in assets, and was sold to RBC Centura Bank.
Prior to 1998, Mr. Burke was Senior Vice President and Regional Senior Lending Officer of 1st United Bank in Boca Raton, Florida, until the sale of the bank to Wachovia Bank in 1998.
Prior to 1st United Bank, Mr. Burke served in a variety of commercial lending and banking positions at large regional commercial banks in South Florida. Mr. Burke received his B.B.A in Management from FIU in 1981.
David Englert
David Englert is the founding Chief Business Development Officer and Executive Vice President. Mr. Englert was an Executive Vice President and Regional Manager of Admiralty Bank in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida from 1998 until the recent sale of the bank to the Royal Bank of Canada.
Prior to Admiralty Bank, Mr. Englert served as Senior Vice President/ Commercial Lending for 1st United Bank in Boca Raton, Florida until the sale of the bank to Wachovia Bank in 1998. Mr. Englert attended Ball State University.
Dennis W. Gavin
Dennis W. Gavin is the founding Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President.
Mr. Gavin was an Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Admiralty Bank in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, from 1998 to 2003 until the sale of the bank to the Royal Bank of Canada.
Prior to Admiralty Bank, Mr. Gavin served as Senior Vice President and Regional Lending Manager for 1st United Bank in Boca Raton, Florida, until the sale of the bank to Wachovia Bank in 1998. Mr. Gavin received his B. A degree in Finance from Iowa State University in 1987.
Ward Kellogg
Ward Kellogg is the founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Kellogg was President and Chief Executive Officer of Admiralty Bank in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida from 1998 until the sale of the bank to the Royal Bank of Canada in 2003. Prior to Admiralty Bank, Mr. Kellogg served for ten years as the Chief Credit Officer of 1st United Bank in Boca Raton, Florida, until the sale of the bank to Wachovia Bank in 1998.
Mr. Kellogg received his B.B.A in Business Management from FIU in 1981.
Kevin Rafferty
Kevin Rafferty is the Executive Vice President of SBA and runs the SBA Lending Division. He brings over 30 years of banking and SBA lending experience.
He has assisted many clients in structuring deals to acquire owner-occupied real estate for as little as 10% down and acquire other businesses with real estate, including hotels, gas stations, and car washes, with high leverage, long-term financing.
